Hello Everyone!
May was an important building month, and June is going to be even more exciting! The Temporal War is imminent!
In May, we accomplished all of our goals except one. We didn’t get the second two Alpha sets ordered, but we do plan on ordering the second one this week or early next week, and we aim to have the third one ordered by the end of the month.
As for June, we have a lot of exciting things planned!
We will be launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund production of the beta version of the game. We will also be posting more content to YouTube and revealing more information about the game itself. We will be choosing the manufacturing company that will be making the beta version of the game. Finally, we will be finishing the New Player’s Guidebook, so that we can host some blind playtests with the Alpha sets.
Kickstarter Campaign
We are excited to announce that we will be launching a Kickstarter campaign on June 13th to fund production of the beta version of The Temporal War. The campaign will run for 30 days, and we hope to raise enough money to produce 500 copies of each beta starter kit.

The goal we’re shooting for is $10,000. This cover a large chunk of costs needed to place the order. We have the remainder of the cost all ready to go, thanks to a line of credit from the bank. We could also accept loans and private investments to make up the difference.
Of course, the hope is to surpass the $10k goal! If we do, we won’t have to use costly funding ally ways, and we might be able to increase our order size for a lower per unit cost. Fingers crossed!
YouTube Content
The social media focus for June is going to be on videos. This includes TikTok, facebook, and instagram reels, but most importantly, we’re going to be heavily leaning on YouTube.
We will be posting gameplay videos, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes looks at the development of the game. We will also be revealing more information about the game itself, such as the different factions, the different units, and the different strategies.
Manufacturing Company
While we’re raising funds, we’re also going to be negotiating with manufacturing companies, to find the best deal available.
We have narrowed down our choices to two companies, and we will be making a decision based on a number of factors, including quality, cost, environmental friendliness, and turnaround time. This is an exciting behind the scenes venture!
Blind Playtesting
As soon as possible, we are going to start hosting blind playtesting, using the Alpha sets that we have finished and prototypes, if needed. The only thing holding this back is a few finishing touches to the New Player Guidebook. Once it is ready, we will arm new players with only the book and and the game and see where things go from there!
