Last week was a busy one for The Temporal War development team. We were hard at work preparing for the launch of our Kickstarter campaign, which goes live in a matter of hours! So much has happened, and there is so much more on the horizon as well. We’re excited to have you with us as we start kicking things off!
Kickstarter Launch
We’re excited to announce that the Kickstarter campaign for The Temporal War will launch (or has launched, depending on when you are reading this)! The goal is to raise $10,000 to help with manufacturing costs. If you’re interested in supporting the project, please visit our Kickstarter page and make a pledge ASAP.
Creator’s Cabal
Last Thursday, we also had the opportunity to attend the Creator’s Cabal. The event was a gathering of game designers from all over the greater Atlanta, GA area. It was a great opportunity to network and learn from veterans in the industry. We met some really great people and came away with a lot of valuable advice.
Factory Talks
We also reopened talks with the factories that are being considered to manufacture The Temporal War. We’re hoping to have a decision made soon. They will be getting back to us this week with estimates.
New Alpha Set
We’re also ordering the next Alpha set, “The Elf Guardians vs The Beast Tribe.” This set will feature new cards and mechanics, and we’re excited to see how players react to it. If we put a rush order on it, which we will, it should be here in less than a week!
Fathers Day
On a more personal note, Father’s Day weekend is coming up, and I (Buster Jr.) will be traveling home to see my family, especially Buster Sr. I’m looking forward to spending some time everyone, and. I may even convince my Dad to let me film him playing the game with me! We’ll see!
