So Much to Do!

We meet again,

Another week in the history books, and it was a busy one at that.

We are three weeks away from our scheduled Kickstarter campaign launch, and as the title of this post suggests, there is so much left to do! It is equal parts exciting and stressful, but such is life.

Personal Life: Got to Have One!

This weekend was Mother’s Day weekend, and to all the mothers out there, I hope your day was wonderful.

One of my important missions this past week was supposed to be getting some videos posted to “The Temporal War” YouTube channel. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. All my other goals were met, but not that one.

Instead, I drove to Tennessee for Mother’s Day weekend and saw the family. It was an overdue visit and a joyous one at that. I got to watch my niece play softball and spend time with Mom, sister, Dad, nephews, and BOTH nieces.

It’s weekends like these that remind me why I try so hard in life.

Social Media Marketing: On the Rise

What we did accomplish this week was still noteworthy.

This was the first week in which the marketing agency I hired took over some of “The Temporal War’s” social media accounts. They have put out some quality content and have plenty more in store. They have also been working hard, editing some footage that will find its way onto the YouTube channel soon.

While we’re at it, I’m also planning on getting that first Introductory YouTube video posted this week. So there will be two videos being released this week. The plan is still to have one, sometimes two videos launched each week. We’re just starting a week later than originally planned.

Fundraising: On the Way

Our upcoming Kickstarter campaign is not the only way we’re planning to raise money.

Currently, I’m in talks with a jewelry maker, who can supply our online store with necklaces and more. These jewelry sets will be based around the lore of the game, the six crystals found inside “The Temporal War” logo. I’m also looking into clothing print companies, for promotional clothes as well.

The goal is to have these promotional products ready at the same time as the Kickstarter campaign or even a week before. Not only can they be sold on this website, but they can also be used as rewards for our Kickstarter backers.

Finally, there is one more piece to the fundraising puzzle: sponsorships! A business minded guest pointed this out to me, while I was serving them dinner at my restaurant job. With things about to take off, now is the time to find sponsors, they said. I was inclined to agree, and so, in the coming weeks, The Temporal War will also be looking for companies in and around the gaming industry to become our first official sponsors!

That’s all for now folks,

See you next week!
