It’s been a busy week for The Temporal War. We’ve been hard at work and have made some great progress.
New Prototype Board
We’ve designed a new prototype board for the game. This one is much more polished than the previous one, and it really captures the feel of the game. We’re excited to get some feedback on it from playtesters.
You will be able to see it very soon, as we start to launch YouTube videos. Speaking of YouTube…
New YouTube Video
This week, I had intended on getting the YouTube channel up and running, but life stepped in the way once again.
Despite the delay, there should be two YouTube videos up by the end of this week. One video will be an introduction to some of the gameplay mechanics and lore; this one is already scripted and filmed. It just needs to be edited. The second video is almost done with editing. In that video, you’re going to get a good look at the game pieces.
Both these videos will probably drop at the same time, later this week.
MomoCon
This weekend, Devin and I will be at MomoCon, a convention for all things anime and geeky. We’ll be walking around the convention in full cosplay and having a grand ole time with friends.
If we’re lucky, we’ll also get to playtest the game while we’re there. It will be in my backpack the whole time. All we have to do is find some willing participants! Then, as long as they don’t mind being recorded, we’ll have some gameplay footage for the YouTube channel.
In any case, it’s going to be a blast. Make sure you’re following us on Snapchat, and you’ll be able to see all our Momocon adventures as they unfold.
Kickstarter & Merch
We’re also only two weeks away from our Kickstarter launch, and we should have some merch ready to offer as rewards for our backers! I can’t wait!
